Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I'm not asking for clues/answers as only just got this quiz but could I ask the compiler a couple of questions please. Does the number of letters in the answers ie (5) include punctuation marks as well as letters? Has the compiler checked for any spelling mistakes? And is there a different animal/name in every answer or are any duplicated? Thanks

I see no reply from the setter yet so not saying I am right but I have the same answer for 2 mainly because what I wanted to put for 14 didnt have 6 letters. and I have spelt 9 if thats the punctuation mark in a way to make it fit not how I want to spell it and I think there is a spelling mistake in clue 13

In reply to your comment about No. 13 I believe you're query concerns past time? Past times would mean something very different, but written as 2 words it wasn't flagged up as a spelling mistake and if it's causing so much confusion I will amend my master copy to read "pastime".

Sorry Janbuck, thought you were referring to Q5 and punctuation. No 9 doesn't have an apostrophe but should have 4 letters. thank you for pointing this out.

Of course it wouldnt flag up as a spelling mistake the two words are spelt correctly. The answer is obvious anyway I was just trying to reply to janbuck.
I dont want to spoil the quiz but if 14 and 20 are different then I presume you want a name for 14 and if so that does not have 6 letters which is why I put them both the same

Thanks everyone for help. I have had an e-mail from compiler which helped with no9 but no14 still has too many letters for my answer. I will stick to what I've put anyway.
