Ah, right.
I comes to us all sandy. Our much younger neighbours had managed to clear their driveways, our driveway was piled high with snow. Years ago I would have cleared my elderly neighbours paths too but it seems that their energy is not as ours used to be. I did clear our drive and the old lady's path next door and I'm feeling the aches and pains today. I'm thankful I don't live alone in weather like this.
My 93 year old neighbour is really thoughtless.

She hasn't been round once to see if I'm alright.

The lazy sod hasn't even bothered to take her milk in for a week. It's like a dairy outside her door.

Some people!
I guess you look old ?

I suppose the flat cap I wear summer and winter must put years on me. Though I admit until you asked I never gave a thought to how I looked.
But it's free milk, JJ..........

bit like being back at school?
At least you are not met with that look of disappointment when you answer the door!
when our leccy went out last Friday - another next door neighbour that I am not that friendly with - came and rang the bell - the bell was electric so I didnt hear it - when the leccy went out I couldn't be bother looking for a candle and lay down on the bed so my bell is electric so I didnt hear that - next day he told me he was at the door seeing if I needed help -also my other neighbour 2 years older came round with candles and a lighter helping anybody who needed help - I gave her candles to hand out to other neighbours who needed help cos I couldn't chance with the torn ligaments - when my neighbour whom I don't run in and out of - he told me he was at the door - I was going to get a few errands in my car a bundle of nerves with the snow - when I came back home - he had dug the snow away and left me a path - I guess Sandy we all have to accept help no matter how independent we are - old or young.
sandy - that last posting was repeat and repeat. But I know you will understand it - I hope.

Yes I did. It's good to know that there are people who look out for their neighbours.
