does anybody know if its possible to wire a video player to a laptop so as to transfer film to burn on dvd????

It is, but not directly.


You need something to "capture" the video and convert it to PC format, like a "Video Capture Card"


There are lots of sites to help you, try searching on "Video to PC" or "Video to DVD " in Google.

An append like this may be better in "Internet and Technolody" or "Film and TV" rather than Music.

The easiest way to transfer from Video to DVD is buy a DVD Recorder unit (rather than a DVD recorder in your PC) and connect the video player to that.


You can then "play" the video and record onto DVd.


Only problem is you have no editing capabilities.
