Hi, my friend has a 1996 Honda CRX ESI 1999cc and the convertible roof has stopped converting, won't move. As he's wanting to sell the car does anyone know what could be wrong?

Probably the electric motor or the pump has packed up.

The CRX auto transtop has many issues ...most of them electrical.Check the roof fuse....taking the fuse out will automatically re set the roof control unit.If the fault is'nt with the motor then it will be one of the roof lock switches or even in a door lock switch.
