I have been sent this riddle via email, duly sent it on to 5 people only to not get the answer. Does anybody know the answer.

The answer is "language," because "language" is the third word in the phrase "the English language. This has been doing the rounds for sooo long now. Then again it could be three See here for an explanation....

Just found this, it may help:


nugry /n[y]oo'gree/ [Usenet, 'newbie' + '-gry'] `. n. A newbie who
posts a FAQ in the rec.puzzles newsgroup, especially if it is a variant of the notorious and unanswerable what, besides `angry' and `hungry', is the third common English word that ends in -GRY?". In the newsgroup, the canonical answer is of course `nugry' itself. Plural is
`nusgry' /n[y]oos'gree/. 2. adj. Having the qualities of a nugry.

PESONOGRY: The ability to be able to sit on a very cold object, eg: a block of ice, for a very long period of time without feeling any discomfort. From the latin Peson, persevere, and ogry, a low temperature! Hope this helps!
