I suspect that as with most of these initiatives aimed at tackling costs there will be protests from lobby groups and maybe a legal challenge and consequently little or nothing may come of it
the usual smokescreen and mirrors bullschit that politicians trawl out.
Like the deportation fiascos they'll have leftie lawyers all queuing up to help and appeal after appeal and theyll get what they want in the end...most of them do
I think some of the cuts are happening in April. For instance after 1/4/13, legal aid will no longer be available for some immigration or visa cases. I did have a list of all the areas where the cuts will hit, but I can't find it.
Cameron seems to choose his speeches depending on what audience he is speaking to. Nothing to do with the by-election at Easleigh on Thursday of course. Cameron certainly has the gift of the gab but its how he tackles the problems that matter.
