Due to our bitch (keeva) coming into season we are having to keep her separated from our boys (Gilligan and Merlin) that isn't to much of a problem, we just keep them in separate rooms. Thats fine until the small hours when they decide to call for her by howling, two wolfhounds howling together at 3.00 am is a sound to behold.
The only way to stop this is for me to sleep on their bed during the night, its not quite as bad as it appears, they have their own double bed in the lounge, when im on it they sleep on the chairs and the sofa, I do end up sharing the bed with one of them though, usually Gilligan.

Lofty, I don't have any problems having dogs in the bedroom but I could never sleep with a cat, they drive me mad with their purring and walking all over the bed and kneading all the time. I never have been a cat person although I have lived with them all my life, this is the first time I have been cat free.
But do they snore ??....if not.... swaps with oh ? ....lol
Love the photo Ratter :>)
