Anything Exciting Happen Today?

Sad to say the most dramatic thing to happen to me today (though good nothing actually really dramatic!) was getting stuck in a lift full of people. It stopped between floors and once they managed to get the doors opened we have to try to climb up to get out (arthritis was well impressed, not).

Anything "exciting" happened to you today?

Had googl Barmaid and looks similar in some of the photos! Randomly enough one of the treatments is methotrexate which is what I'm on for my arthritis which was what landed me in hospital on anti-virals for the chickenpox scare.

Jenna they are talking nuts when they say PLC doesn't itch. It BLOODY WELL DOES.

Nothing seems to have made a difference so far. Being good and not scratching.

I got so warm in the office later I had to take my cardigan off and look diseased!

Probably just as well I had it on when the lift broke seeing as 4 of the 5 others were strangers haha!

Found a load of old programmes from drama productions from school where I taught. Loads of good (a few sad) memories.

I would have had a harty-party-farty and looked at other people accusingly whilst stuck in the lift, jenna. x

That would have been exciting...and yes, I have done this on many an occasion. :0)

Most exciting thing happened to me today was that I got a caller through on my radio show, who, whilst playing Earth Wind And Fire's "Lets Groove" on my Time Tunnel hits and headlines guess-the-year slot, thought it was from 1995........a mere 14 years into the future.....Corinne on reception wet her knickers laughing, which was most exciting as she spent the next hour or so, without any on until a girl colleague nipped out to buy her a pair. :0)

I had a biopsy and once it was diagnosed had sun bed treatment (OH YAH, getting sunbeds on the NHS), steroid cream and steroids. Unfortunately, given the steroid meds, I put on 3 stone in a very short period of time. It was just before my wedding. My slim fit, backless, sleeveless wedding dress had to be butchered. The spots cleared up after about 4 months and I've only had 2 minor occurrences since.

I had a lovely day today. My lovely uncle bought me a new KitchenAid out of the blue, for no other reason than to make him cakes! lol Then he took me for a lovely lunch, and I came home to an email from BA asking me to an interview. And to top it all off, I'm hoping the snow comes tomorrow! ;) x
