Recently I have watched a documentory about assisted suicide With terry pratchet. It really messed my head up for a few days and because a few of the people with motor neurone disease I started looking into it iout of scuriosity to try understand why these people would take there own lives. Anyway That was a few months ago ago and feel a lot better about seeing it.
Anyway I was laying in bed last Friday night around 2 in the morning a muscle started twitching in the front of my right thigh. It wasn’t that woke me up I was already awake. Anyway I tried tensing my muscle but nothing happened it kept twitching every 3 seconds or so. I even got up and started doing a few squats but then got into bed and it was still twitching! I even filmed it on my phone I was in such disbelief. Anyway it lasted for a few hours and went away and it hasn’t happened in the same place as far as I am aware but I am having very small twitches in my right thigh. I am really worried about this. Should I go to the doctors?

No, Sqad will confirm. It's quite usual to get the odd twitch in a muscle, particularly around the eye. I get one in the upper arm sometimes, had it years I'm still here! Usually when I'm tired.
Having looked at your last unusual first post, you do seem unduly concerned about your health.

yogasun thanks for the reply. Yes I know twitching is normal but this was different it carried on twitching even after I tensed the muscle
Probably just an oddity in that nerve or muscle, I doubt it would be anything to worry about.
Twitching (fasiculation) is not uncommon and does not need medical attention.

Fasiculation associated with muscle wasting or weakness is a different "ball game" and needs medical assessment.
Honeydip, I just googled it, loads of stuff about twitching leg muscles, may worth having a peek.
