Exactly as the title says... I work on a really old computer, probably about 10 years old, it works fine and my boss is very reluctant to get rid of it, however my life would made much simpler if I could use a more up to date microsoft office on it so then I could transfer work I have done at home onto it and vice verser. Will it work or will the computer be too old to be able to use such an up to date office on it?? Thanks

For 2010 you should be able to run it... whether it will, perform well or not is another question.

Please post the spec of your PC so we can see if it will run or not.
Microsoft Office 2013 will only run on Windows 7 or 8:

When you save documents on your home system (which I assume has a more recent version version of Office than you have at work) use 'Save as', rather than 'Save' and change the file type to an appropriate one for use at work. (Your home system should recognise files from older versions of Office anyway).

You can buy a new computer (system unit) for about £300, probably less than you will pay for the new version of Office.
