I think it's a great idea. I have no local launderette so this will be perfect for me.

I can see these lovely duvets getting nicked while you're doing the shopping!

I've taken mine to the dry cleaners today, they do them in the large machines there and charge £10. Costs a bit more maybe but they look after them.

There will be ways to make theft very difficult or not worth the while.
There are mobile phone charging boxes in my local mall and they don't get broken in to.
