Factor, my age is our secret
I cannot believe that there are people who've never eaten an Eccles Cake!
So secretive I don't know it. The 70 reference was 1970 for Emmylou when she was at her peak (song wise) but I think the picture was probably much later
Is there two? Manchester one....
Headreck, if it was later in the evening this thread could take a very, very unfortunate turn.

Luckily, as I'm an innocent there is no goss about me to be shared........

Eccles, I didn't mean to upset you, it's a genuine forgotten love of eccles cakes
Who's upset? Certainly not me!
I always seem to be the dissenting voice, but I really don't like them. :(
I can't bear currants. In fact I don't like most cooked fruit.
I know, I know...but it's always sharp sour and I hate that sensation to my bones.

wasn't there an eccles in the goons? Harry Secombe, I think?
I'm not sure which is worse being eaten by fellow ABers or having the Goon show dragged up.... ;-)
this thread really ought to be in News as it is classified as currant affairs.....

Factor good night xxx
Are you back to Debbie now?
I like eccles cakes. There is an Eccles in Norfolk, we used to holiday there when I was a child.
