Which South Wales railway pregrouping company operated port to port express trains in conjunction with the help of the G.W.R., G.C.R. and N.E.R. and what ports did it connect.

the ports to ports express ran from newcastle to cardiff and was a collaboration between the gwr, gcr and ner. this train carried a coach or portion for barry, which it reached over the independent barry railway. on grouping the barry railway was absorbed by the gwr.

It sounds as though it could be the Newcastle Swansea service - though I'm not sure what the South Wales company would be
