Does anyone know of any software which can be downloaded which terminates your internet connection when there is an incoming telephone call? Or at least warns you of a caller waiting? Thanks....

if you get an adsl line installed you can use your telephone and be online at the same time - on the same telephone line which means that you don't have to worry about incoming calls or call waiting. alternatively, simple old BT call minding will take messages while your line is busy - it does not enable you to interrupt your online activity but it does mean that you can call any missed callers back.
You can buy an Internet Call Manager from Comtech it costs 39.95 - its really easy to use you just plug your modem and phone into the machine, then plug the connection from the machine into your phone socket on the wall - then if an incoming call is made to your line while you're online the machine will flash and beep and display the calling number so you can decide whether to take the call or ignore it. All calls are then logged (it can store up to 80) and you can call them back at your leisure. you can get more info or buy the machine online at www.comtechproducts.co.uk
