Ed, the text in the posts on this thread appears to be carrying on too far across the page. The end of each line is disappearing under the adverts on the right hand side of the screen.

Looks fine to me, what browser are you using?

I've seen what you describe happen when people post really really long links on threads (lets see if I can do it here)

that was it.... really really long links in the youtube box that aren't youtube links can break things :)
Looks fine to me as well. Using FF 16.0.2

Chuck, IE9.

You did it, and it changed your original post here too.
Yeah, my second post breaks the formatting for the whole page, but that's the only thing I've seen does it and there isn't a post like that on the other page.

Try resetting your zoom back to standard by pressing CTRL + 0
it happened to me earlier then stopped but is happening in this post, im using chrome
I would remove my post that breaks the formatting, but I can't now because the report link is not visible anymore :)

Just had a quick look at that thread - it's the Ed's presidential poll thread - and someone has posted a really long link. Maybe it's that - but is there a cure for the problem?

I tried Ctrl + 0 - nothing happened. I think I must already be on standard.
Usually, as Chuck says, it's a super-long link... But i can't see one on the question you've share Naomi...

I'll investigate a little further...

Not on the thread you linked to there isn't, there is one the thread calibax linked to though.
Question Author
Oops! Sorry all. I linked to the wrong thread. Calibax has the right one.
Better?
Just removing the offending link is cheating:)
:)

Sneaky - but it works! :o)
Long user names (15+ characaters) can also throw out the screen layout for me
