lol ladybirder thats my odds...
OK. I think I'll put it under 'Damp patch on ceiling' then, on my list of things to worry about:-)
in all seriousness tho iran will not take any threat to them lightly they are armed to the teeth with long/short range missiles..and of course nuclear weapons to boot..
Iran does not have Nuclear weapons.

Any argument for war which starts from that premis to dangerously wrong.

Obama knows America cannot afford another war. Afghanistan and Iraq have been a disaster for the US (and UK). And Iran would have the same outcome. The US will not start an attack, and will strongly advise the Israelis not to initiate anything on their own. The US are playing for the long game. They are working on the Arab Spring will eventually become a Persian Spring and regime change in Tehran. Then a negotiated settlement of Iran's Nuclear future.

All that could change if Romney gets elected, but it seems unlikely that he will be.

As for your 3/1 on for all out war by the end of the year, I very much doubt it.
as i said gromit the 3/1 odds i gave were tongue in cheek...so you think that military hardware is there for the sake of it do you??obama has loaded the gun and it is cocked ready to go off but he is holding fire and chasing the diplomatic route...romney wants to shoot the gun..he wants to stamp out the nuclear threat posed by iran..if he gets elected there will be fireworks in that region of the world..3/1 might seem long odds come the end of 2012..

If there were no threat from Iran I don't think Cameron would be preparing for war as he is currently doing this past week.
