can i claim back for a 21 pound pair of thick black tights i bought only last weekend and snagged on a kid's coat zip as I leaned over to see his work in the lesson, I am so annoyed?

Good advice Mosaic! yak! I actually got reimbursed by the school, took in my receipt and they paid me out of petty cash, couldn't believe it, worth asking after all. They said they covered items up to 50 pounds for staff mishaps. I buy the more expensive ones as they are a very good quality and last longer, well, most of the time!
