Why only one star - what did you want, an essay?

Happy now?
I'm assuming that - between posting my first answer this morning and returning now - it was one-starred and then three-starred by the questioner after Hal's intervention. Thanks for 'sticking up for me', Hal, but perhaps Stano thinks a one-word answer can be worth only a one-star rating, despite the question's requiring no more. Fair enough!

I won't write the 'essay' suggested by Hal, but - if you care to click http://www.bartleby.com/59/9/holyromanemp.html Stano - you'll be taken to a website that very briefly confirms the answer I offered.

Another typical hal entry, negative as always.
Stano - I am happy (on Quizmonsters behalf, though I doubt he is much concerned!) OnlyMe - I'm touched that I have aquired a reputation, although I fear it is not fully deserved ( I am rather proud of my very positive reply to a question on Watergate and my three stars for my reply on the current population of the world).
