Why was the accused thing (don't want to mention the name) who's been charged with the murder of poor April Jones crying in court???? And why won't he say where he's put her? I keep on waking up in the night thinking about her :(

Maybe he didn't do it. I'd be crying if I were charged with a murder I didn't commit.

If he didn't do it, he won't know where she is.
Because he realises the enormity of the situation? Because he has started to feel remorse? Because he's innocent? Goodness knows.

He might have said where he put her but they can't find the body, that's presuming he is guilty.
He has nothing to gain by admitting it.

As long as her body isn't found, and he keeps saying "it wasn't me", there is a chance of being found innocent.

As regards crying in court, considering the stress I am not surprised.

Don't lose sight of one fact though - he might actually be innocent.
How does anybody know he is refusing to say where she is (if he even had anyting to do with it). That's just what everyone is assuming.
We don't know anything yet.
Exactly. Everyone is making assumptions when very little formal information has been released by the police.
I was reading a thread on another site last night where the OP was calling for him to have his finger nails pulled out with pliers!
Do you think you might be in danger of overempathising here?

Yes it's a very sad case but regrettably they do happen quite regularly and have for hundreds of years.

If you're seriously letting this disturb you to the extent that you're waking up at night perhaps you might be better avoiding the news for a while (Always presuming you're not directly connected with the case that is)
Yes Ummmm - I read that and everyone whi disagreed was wrong!! Thankfully thread has been pulled.
Why not go the whole hog and poke him in the eye with cocktail sticks too.
I don't think it's a good thing that thread was pulled, it's interesting to get an idea of others ideas, even if you think they are totally bonkers.
It was not the ideas but the sinking into absolutely vile language that broke the back of it.
I missed the end. I found it quite shocking that people really think like that. Torture someone before they've even been found guilty.
First two answers deal with it. Nuff said.
Assuming he did kill her, and we must remember our justice system is based on innocent until proven guilty, he MAY have dumped her body in the river they have been searching. It could be that the poor little girl's body has been swept away.

Whatever the out come of any trial, I hope they find April soon so her family can lay her to rest.
The problem is he may have not murdered April Jones.
I am not sure what would happen if say he was found not guilty if April's body was never found.
What would be the attitude of parents if he then wants to train as a teacher for example. The training institution may have to accept him as a student if he had the qualifications etc but would anybody leave their child with him even if his CRB says he has no convictions?.
For this reason I think the accused's details should be kept confidential until he is convicted and all appeals have been completed and even after that if it is ever found he did not murder April he should be given a house which he will own pension and a job.
Did he plead guilty or not guilty to the charges facing him?
He hasn't had the plea hearing yet.
