... the australian girl, who was abducted at the age of ten and held captive in a cellar for eight years, is the subject of a documentary on channel 5* tonight at 2300.

she will, apparently, be describing her ordeal in the programme.

this is the first time i have known that a victim of such a crime (and there have been three or four in the last decade) has been in a documentary.

i am quite curious to learn why this programme has been made and will therfore be recording it to watch during the week.

i assume she has allowed this to happen so that she can finally exorcise any demons she may still be carrying.

anybody else curious about this?

Was just about to comment Yes she was Austrian
Soundtrack by Abba. Strains of Money money money in the background.
I've already seen a couple of interviews so not really curious just wondering if she's still doing them or now getting on with her life. Her aggressor was killed and she did care for him in a kind of way.
I dont think I will watch the documentary, purely because I have seen a few interviews she did on tv and in the papers. I dont feel there is much to add to it.
I think Dicky has it. I assume she is skint.
