thanks tony. I will let you have a day off from "the look" and any reference to goats for the day as reward.

Brimoan - apologies for digressing
Lol @ Daffy.
it's been on AB since 1627, Tilly... Why should we remember ye traitorous *** Fowkes with ye bonfires and upset ye dancing beares...
I remember reading somewhere that AOG posted a question about it in 1628
I know what Mr Fawkes' name was, though I spelt it in the manner of the time, G.u.i.d.o... can anyone think why that might have been asterisked?
I went shopping yesterday and even though it's only end of September there's stacks of Christmas stuff about.
jno, that word is sometimes used as an insult to Italian (I think) men of a certain type. I'm sure the Urban Dictionary could explain it better.

the C word should be banned until december 1st. i may e.mail ED with my suggestion :)
I've looked it up and it seems to mean an Italian-American who wears too much hair gel. I can't begin to imagine why AB has banned this one.
And the 'f' word should be banned as well.
which f word tilly?
The word we've been discussing.fireworks
not fandango, I hope... I couldn't bear life without fandangos
Christmas cancelled....................... hooray. Worst time of the year as far as I'm concerned. If I were a hedgehog I would hibernate until the spring.
