I want to open a post office 1 year fixed interest savings account. Apparently you can only do this either by post or at local branch, which is fine.
Once I've opened this is there a facility to check and manage your account online or does everything have to be done in branch or by post?

Also is there an option to not have statements sent in the post?

This is probably mentioned somewhere on the website but I can't seem to find it. I'm going down to the post office when I get chance anyway but just thought someone on here, who knows, could clear these 2 things up for me.

Thanks

If it's one year fixed interest then there's no account management to do - the interest is paid at the end of the year - so I doubt that there's any online access.

Not certain though as I can't actually identify the account you are talking about
Not sure which account you mean. Maybe a Growth Bond? It's probably easiest to pop into your local branch and pick up a leaflet of which ever account it is and read the terms and conditions.
