Who is singing the wonderfully mellow version of California Dreaming in Saab's latest TV ad?

After a search on All Music and a play on Kazaa, I reckon its Bobby Womack's version, though its only mellow at the very beginning (the bit the ad uses?). Towards the end it gets a bit more hectic (tho' these things are relative). Anyhow, the track appears to be on every Best of Bobby Womack ever released.

Thanks! I found loads of tune of the song title but I couldn't find Bobby Wormack so I downloaded mamas and the papas but it's still good :)
