locked out of floppy disc

I have some important info on a floppy disc so of course I passworded it and despite being 1000% sure of password the chuffing thing wont open.........any ideas?

did you try both upper and lower case for password?

I only use lower case.............
how did you password protect it?
If you are using the correct password it should open, computers NEVER forget. If you are using security passwords in ms office you can download programs to crack these just google for them.

The floppy disks could be corrupt - floppy disks are a pretty outdated format, and are unreliable when left for long periods of time.


You should get a cheap USB pen drive, you can password protect those as well.

Yes the password has to be associated with some sort of utility program. What was it ?
