What are Synthespians?

They are computer-generated animations, that can essentially "act" in place of a proper flesh-and-bones cast, so the producers can spend less money on a cast, and more on special effects. This is great for futuristic sci-fi films, where the scenes are all going to be computer-generated anyway, and Synthespians can do their own stunts! The only drawback is that you still need actors to provide the voices, although presumably you can employ lesser-known actors for a lot less money.
