Is it just me or does anybody else hate Facebook. My wife and sister go on it, and it just seems like other "friends" are intent on trying to wind people up, status updates about how their kids are so wonderful, constant check-ins etc, bitchy comments and "keep up with the Jones'" attitudes. Why would people want all their so called "friends" they just checked in at Tescos?

Kiki and Thelmaster - I am not on Facebook, just what I hear from colleagues.!!!
Depends how you use it I suppose. You can control how you use it and not be part of the bitching, jealousy, etc. It's good for sharing photos, but personally I don't use it for anything else. I prefer private emails to friends and relations, which is just as easy and seems more personal.

It doesn't cause jealousy, I use it to keep up with family and friends. If you are a jealous type of person and don't want to know how well people you are friends with are doing, then avoid it.
