I don't know how the subscribe button works. Does it help you keep an eye on your own questions?

yes.Tilly...it will show part way down the page on the right hand side, every
time someone puts an answer it will update. You will also get an email for
every answer.

Yes tilly, you get an email every time someone posts an answer on a thread you're subscribed to.

Which, if they're busy threads, means you get an awful lot of emails. Personally I find it a lot quicker to use the various bits of site navigation to keep up.
