As a company policy, I think they are quite within thier rights not to employ anyone one with a beard.
Personally, I would feel much more comfortable hiring a car from someone who did have a beard. I will, in future, use alternative car hire. We all have a choice.

Im quite attached to my beard, I would be very offended if I was told to shave it off!

Fred looks out his window and sees Bob sitting on his front porch across the street. Bob looks distraught.

Obvious really you state your own rules of employment.
No women wearing jeans or trousers, no men wearing dresses or hijabs, no person whatsoever who is bald, no person with hair, absolutely no person with one arm or leg, no tall persons need apply & similarly no one who is short with little legs.
