You mean Pacific / Durabrand?

I have a clock radio (around 3.50), a freeview box (~25), a dvd player (similar), a kettle, a toaster, and they're all up to standard for the price.

I was looking at one of those DVD recorders, but only if it will record audio CDs, which I'm still not sure of.

I've got a Pacific Microwave and it is basic but ok.

Bought 5x Pacific DVD players last Xmas for sub 39 not one of them has given any problems whatsoever. The one I kept for myself plays any old thing shoved in it DVD/RW, JPeg, Kodak (ahem) shhhhh.. pirates!! anything at all. Better than the Sony it replaced

Only drawback not the slimmest or best looking piece of kit but worth every penny.

I bought the Durabrand digibox to use in my bedroom TV and was surprised to find it had the exact same remote control as the Matsui set in my living room. Both work well and both sets work with each others remote control!
I bought the Durabrand 20 DVD player they were doing for our spare room.

Works fine, not the best, but it plays any DVD you throw at it and even has a multi-region code if you know what sites to look on. No problems whatsoever, good build quality, good connectivity, fair-to-good picture (it is being run through a 15-year-old telly, though).

Haven't yet seen anything that would put me off buying them.
I bought a Durabrand CD-player because I wanted the cheapest available player which played MP3 CDs as well as ordinary CD's. Dirt cheap, works fine, an absolute bargain.

On the other hand, I bought a Pacific radio and the sensitivity and selectivity are both very poor.
