I had a LOVELY gold suit to wear to a disco once with sequins down the side, teamed with black ankle boots! Oh and a cream duffle coat!!

Mother made me wear an all in one "flying suit" aka clown suit...purple with multicoloured buttons on......it also came in yellow which i had. Truley awful

Also had a bomber jacket with a dinosaur hood....was purple with green dinos on it and when the hood was up it was spikey like a dinos back LOL

Lol Lofty ..they were for my Dad . He could never understand why women wanted to wear trousers .He was so old fashioned in a way . ..bless him .
Mind you he was born in 1904 !

I wouldn't be able to stand up in a pair of high platform shoes these days, let alone walk.

I loved high platformed wedges , they made me over 6' !!

Loftie! You`ve reminded me. In my teens I sometimes modeled for a dress and shoe shop. Always a rush to get changed especially the time I had to model boots up to the tops of my legs and a coat. No time for anything else so tiny knickers, tiny, unnecessary bra, boots and coat. I was at the end of the catwalk when I heard. "Gness will now remove her coat so you can all see our new, full-leg boots."
