Holiday

Now back from holiday. My wife and I went with my older brother and his wife. Weather diabolical so we decided to come home today instead of waiting 'till tomorrow but all in all we had a good week.
Stayed in a converted barn near Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Thanks to those of you who wished us a happy holiday.
I've read your running serial Mrs O. Really great.
Now back to reality.

Welcome back Parkdale. Wish I had been in a barn in Norfolk. Got to Penzance and all sailings cancelled.Spent two weeks gardening and decorating in Devon.

Parkdale, myself and the first Mr Craft once went on a 3 week holiday to Cornwall. The weather (the first week was when the Fastnet boat disaster happened) was so bad we came home after 1 week................

yes the weather here has been horrible hasnt it, that downpoor and thunder yesterday wasnt good and then rained all last night too. It has stayed dry since about 3 though

I was always afraid to fly but had to to go to live in Canada. My first ever flight was the day of the Fastnet disaster. The winds were horrific.I got drunk.

I had such a bad flight to Tunisia in about 1984 I haven't flown since.
