I have been posting you for a while on your original thread(my first day) and i have had no answer.I would just like to know how your E-lites are going. Are you still on them or unfortunately has it all gone pear shaped and you are back on normal cigarettes again.Either way good on you for trying, and fantastic if you are still using e-lites.

Hi Fred........yes I'm still persisting with the E Lites but am still having normal ciggies at the beginning and end of the day. The daughter thinks it's great as she says she can now take me out for a meal etc without me having to go outside for a ciggie break.
Crafty- can i ask why you're still on normal fags as well?

I'm only asking as I quit 5 weeks ago (again!) and so far with these new E Cigs im on, ive resisted the urge for a real 'un.
B00 can I butt in and ask how many e-cigs you are smoking a day?
well a cartridge will last me about 2 days, and from the blurb i got with the kit, it states a cartridge is equivalent to 20 fags, so roughly 10?
Thanks B00 only my daughter has now been using e-cigs since end of February and has a line of them all recharging on the worktop. I don't think this is how it's meant to work:-(

Thankyou craft for answering me.Im so glad that you are still sort of resisting. But I also ask the question, why are you still having normal ciggies.I know I did for the first day or two but then found the e-lite was better than the normals and stopped them altogether. It's been over 3 months now and I feel great,I have even started zumba classes, which I certainly would not have had i still been smoking(could'nt breath).I feel so much healthier. Please just put those real ciggies in the bin,you do not need them.highn regards fred.x

Hi Boo,good for you,5 weeks is brilliant keep up the good work.Do you feel any better for it,by that I mean can you see any visible signs to your health from stopping.

ladybirder in answer to yours no this is not how it is supposed to be but hey It doe's not matter if your daughter is having loads of these unreal ciggies she is refrianing from the killer ciggies, these do not kill and I say well done to your daughter do not knock her she is doing extremely well.Keep it up ladybirder's daughter.
Fred I am not knocking my daughter, I am concerned for her. You say e-cigs don't kill but you don't know that for a fact. As I have posted before, they are unregulated, so who knows what rubbish is being put in them by unscrupulous people? She is in such a bad place since she ceased smoking cigarettes, bad tempered, rude, aggressive, ill mannered, sullen, now hates a job that she has loved for 10 years, fallen out with people at work she has worked quite happily with previously. She's totally unapproachable. I just want my lovely daughter back. This has been going on for over 3 months and when I do try and talk to her she bursts into tears and keeps repeating 'it's so hard'. Of course I'm pleased she's given up smoking and I praise her for that but she now seems to be in a deep depression and won't go to the doctor. My own experience of giving up smoking was good, hers seems to be a nightmare with no end in sight. I don't know whether e-cigs are playing any part in this, how would anybody know.

So sorry about that ladybirder, did'nt know the full facts.I cannot say for sure, but I do not think this due to the E-lites, My sister has never smoked, and was a very easy going person until one day she rang me up,crying(not like her) about what we do not know,I recognised the symptoms straight away,as I have been there,She was suffering from depression and is now on medication,I thank god she phoned me that day(I live so far away from her and felt unable to help)except for my advice.Try approaching your daughter again. There could be something a little more deep rooted than just giving up smoking.
Thanks fredkins. If I say anything I am now accused of being controlling so I'm leaving it to her partner to try and make some progress. I seem to have gone from best friend to enemy number one.
