Just realized tonight, didn't have a reminder etc, can I do it on-line as knowing my luck will get pulled over if I drive tomorrow?

when I went to renew my driving licence at the post office they twice rejected my photo because they said my fringe was too long, third time in desperation I got two hair grips put one either side and parted the fringe, now I have a driving licence and the photo resembles Olive from "On the Buses"!
