To anyone considering using JDH bookkeeping and accountancy please read this first.

We have recently had the misfortune of using the named company for our bookkeeping.

The proprietor of the business (JDH) displays a level of ineptitude which insults all of those hardworking, knowledgeable, honest people who also call themselves bookkeepers.

She constantly gets even the most basic things wrong leading to costly and inconvenient mistakes for us. It would seem that she is too busy attracting new business to look after the existing customers.

Astronomic fees and fabricated invoices are the name of the game. If you do use this company keep a very close eye on what you're being charged for as it isn't uncommon for 'errors' to be made here either.

You can also expect your confidential business information to be shared with all and sundry-no concept of professional ethics.

It would seem that JDH is too busy trying to gain sympathy, trying to be the centre of attention and looking for her next extra marital affair to concentrate on the work she is meant to be doing.

I will be reporting her to the AAT with whom JDH is registered to get here struck off. Anyone who feels the same should contact the AAT conduct and compliance team on 0845 863 0787.

Whilst not suggesting anything you say is wrong and I understand you are obviously upset, I would point out that there are very stringent laws against defamation of character. If you cannot prove everything you say, defaming someone on a public board is a very dangerous thing for you to do. By all means report her, but wait until the "experts" have agreed with you before doing this
I have only just noticed this post here regarding my services and company. I can confirm that I am still an active member of the AAT and have been promoted now to FMAAT, an honour that is only received after at least 5 years of experience and hard work. I now have two other companies - one of which is a chartered accountancy practice. Anyone is free to check my credentials with AAT - if you need my practice licence number, please contact me via my website www.jdhbookkeeping.co.uk and I will be happy to provide it for you.
