I wear what i am comfortable in, if others don't like it that's their problem.
How do you define dress your age? I'm 63 and certainly don't dress like my mother did when she was 63. I dislike denim jeans (which I lived in when young) but do wear black skinny jeans a lot with loads of different tops. I wouldn't go shopping at Top Shop but find that Next and Monsoon cater for trendy oldies. I do have more classic outfits for special occasions.
Alas, I have very few special occasions these days craft..Funerals seem to be the only time I get dressed up.
I don't have any special occasion stuff either. I'd be in trouble if the Queen called....... ;-)
Me too mazie..................I'm going to my nephew's wedding at a very posh venue in September and don't know whether to rake something out and have it cleaned, or splash out on a new outfit. The problem nowadays is that if I get new it will probably not get worn again.
I think you're fairly safe on that one pasta ;o)

I'd dig something out of the back of the wardrobe craft. Like you, cant see the point in spending loads on something to wear once...I went digging in the wardrobe for my Sons wedding and everyone said how nice I looked, mind you all my Son's mates are bloody liars, so that one didn't wash with me!
Yes you're probably right................I may just get a new hat (I love hats)
I dress to please me and I know that I have the wrong figure for leggings but I don't care-they are comfortable and very practical for my job.

Socially and domestically I still dress to please me, 'cos I am the one wearing the clothes, washing the clothes and ironing the clothes.

If my bum IS too big in whatever I wear, then so be it!
Sounds good craft....

Just wear longer tops Alice, that's what I do to hide my Bum
Hey hang on you lot, who mentioned big bums lol.
Alice did
Oh ok then.
I think Big Bums are fashionable at the moment tony
Never been out of fashion for me mazie lol.
no man ever says does my bum look big in this, why only the ladies.

There is a brilliant window display in Selfridges, all to do with Britain, the people, swinging sixties, the lot, to do with the Queens Diamond Jubilee.
one window has a bunch of mannequin builders, posing with cups of tea, one is bending over showing his builders bum, hilarious and made us laugh.
em, yeah why have Woman got this thing about the size of their bums ?
I dress in whats comfy and smart ,I have always worn lots of black so not much change there. If I have a special occasion I will do a recky then ask my daughter to help me decide we usually agree except she says a need a smaller size and she right most times - I look roomto move or grow in!

Sorry about the delay Boo, I'm 64 wear jeans that are not too tight, Trainers (Black to suit) I like Adidas Cool Tops but not body hugger that's for day time wear usually bought from JJ Sports & the likes, when going out of a night, casual depending on the weather open necked shirts, trousers ( Dark) maybe stripped) I will not wear cheap shoes but not ones costing up from £60 as I think above this price, someone is taking the Izz, my clothes are either M.S. Debs, etc but not Primart ?? But I did use their clothing for work, I wear clothes I feel comfortable in & tend to ask my daughters for their opinion, my younger daughter will tell me straight if its cr@p & not right.
