Thing 2 is seeing a county paediatrician tomorrow as part of being assessed for a statement (due to his severe, specific speech impediment). He is four years old. Does anyone know what I should expect as I would like to try to prepare him as he doesn't deal well with new situations and people (turns extremely shy). Thanks. (PS - he already gets one-to-one speech therapy every week.)
