What product would you use to clear a neglected garden of brambles, weeds etc? I tried cutting these back last summer to the best of my ability, but they have grown back worse than ever......digging is not an option due to health issues, and getting someone else to do the digging is not an option either. What ever is suggested must be pet friendly as I have a dog that must have access to the garden. I hope someone can help with some suggestions as i'm fast loosing my hair due to pulling it out! Thanks

I'm having reasonable results using SBK Brushwood Killer. Pets are not an issue for me, but maybe keep the dog out of the area for the day to allow the stuff to dry on the foliage. It works by being absorbed by the leaves and it certainly kills brambles (but it takes about a month)
Here's the safety data sheet - it doesn't say it is an issue for animals.
