In the mid 80's there was an Australian mini-series called simply "Vietnam" about the Ausies who went to the Asian war.

The theme tune for this was a classical piece which was wonderfully haunting. I can't remember the title of it although it was released as a 45 (remember them), and it was a relatively unknown (to me anyway) classical composition.

Can anyone help?

PS I Know nicole kidman played a small role in the series, I've found that out on google, the bloody theme tune still haunts me tho'

Yeah, he did the incidental music. I'm after the title theme though.

Like I said it's a known piece of classical music.

Anyone help?

This is just a guess, but could it have been Pachelbel's Canon or Albinoni's Adagio?
