Comes into effect on Monday of next week. If I posted 3 items on Sunday (won't be picked up until Monday) - at the old rates, would the RM let them go through, or would they ask the recipient to pay the difference?

Thanks for any replies.

Presuming your stamps are marked 'first' or 'second' class it will not make a difference.

Thank you Mamya. The items are "Packet" rate though, and the cost has gone up from £1.33 to £2.20.
There must surely be some allowance for things already in transit, sorry cannpt be more definitive.

Thank you Mamya. I bought some stamps this morning and asked the counter clerk, she said there has always been a bit of leeway in the past but she can't say for certain.

It eBay stuff that I listed last Friday, I forgot about the increase.
