I assume this is whats wrong with me and because of my age I know the G.P will just dismiss it as so, hence I refuse to see one.

I've searched online but everything goes on about Hot flushes, night sweats and mood swings, I have none of these.

Can anyone recommend something for the dizziness, tiredness, weakness sore boobs and erratic heart rate and blood pressure, I feel so ill its hard work just to sit here and type this.

These were just funny spells as I call them but now they are here most of the time. Last two periods were both a week late so I guess I'm just a beginner at this menopause lark.

Can you recommend something herbal that you found worked for you.
Thank you..

Sounds like sqad will make a good substitute for the summet heavy round the head theory if hubby not available??

;-)
Think Sqad is trying to say these symptoms may not necessarily be contributable to menopause...could be something else !!!..you are quite young for this yet !...please don't hit him over the head with summit heavy...you know we all need him here !!!
^ spoils all my fun :-(
All I can add is - go to the doctor. Don't assume it's menopause, although it well might be.

If it is - I am a huge advocate of HRT, it kept me sane for several years, I had no symptoms at all during the time I was on it.

Good luck - let us know what the GP says!
go see your doc!
Sore boobs - try evening primrose oil, was recommended to me by my GP (check with your GP first thou), and also a well fitting bra, get yourself properly measured and fitted, this helped emormously.
good luck x

Arwyn,

TELL your doctor to test your blood for menopause and get an answer to that one.

Sore boobs, do you sleep on your front? I do, and I have a very impressive rack so that makes them hurt till around 2pm.

Heart rate and blood pressure, get your GP to test these or go to a pharmacy that offers that service.

If your GP EVER dismisses your concerns, find a new one. You will be doing us all a favour.

Get your symptoms checked, it may well be stress related but best to find out.
\\\\TELL your doctor to test your blood for menopause and get an answer to that one. \\\

"TELL"....what a good start to a consultation.
His response would be,"Go out of the room, take a few deep breaths and return with a better attitude"

Also another tip....replace the word "TELL" with the word "ASK"

\\\\If your GP EVER dismisses your concerns, find a new one. You will be doing us all a favour. \\\\

Particularly to the GP that you are leaving.
