Not because I feel all youthful and energetic.

Because I've had the most ridiculous outbreak of teenage acne. Ahhhh!!!!!

What do you use to zap the gross little buggers? Any recommendations (that I can pick up in Tesco)?

keep your skin as clean as possible use paper towels rather than fabric ones to dry your face, any of the common cleAnser/cream combos and if it doesn't calm down in a couple of weeks go to your GP as you might need something stronger some foods seem to make flare ups worse for some folk... might be worth watching out for anything that might aggravate it
There is a regimen on acne.org which is very effective. I would acvise you to steer clear of anything is the shops which says it's for acne, they're usually too harsh and make things worse. Use a very gentle cleanser like Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser twice a day, a benzoyl peroxide product, and when that dries, a moisturiser something like olay complete sensitive - see what suits you best. Touch your skin as little as possible and when applying cream, cleansing etc etc be ultra ultra gentle. See the acne.org regimen for detailed instructions, videos etc.

I normally find I get little breakout after I've been drinking alcohol but I haven't had a drop for yonks. Maybe I've just been eating more crap than I thought recently.
Where abouts are the spots hon? I have to be careful with things like conditioner on my hair as some of them seem to cause spots where my hair hangs.

If my skin breaks out I tend to use a tea tree oil gel cleanser to get it nice and clean, use a hot clean flannel to press gently over the spots and prevent prevent my skin from getting greasy as much as possible. Avoid products with oil in or which could clog your pores.

I dab clinique toner for blemish prone skin on spots to help them come out and it tends to make them less sore too.
Salt wash/bath & rinse off with plain water.

Always around my chin. When I was a teenager I suffered from acne quite badly but it was always my lower face. I don't think I've ever had a single zit on my forehead. I know a little bit of the spots are down to something else (which is a bit embarrassing so I won't go into that now) but its not usually this bad.

Hadnt thought about tea tree but have heard before its good to use. Even my hairdresser was trying to flog me some teat tree shampoo for about a million quid last week.

In the meantime the salt water is an easy one I can try this evening.
Oh, Evian ... poor you.

Nah, they'll go soon enough (until the next time anyway), just want to give them a bit of a nudge. It's a bit embarrassing looking at the clearasil shelf in the supermarket at the age of 28. Lol
