There still is!
http://www.sundaysun.co.uk/

Confusingly, the title is owned by NCJ Media, which is part of Trinity Mirror plc, which owns the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and the (Sunday) People. Which means that it's in direct competition with Rupert Murdoch's New International (and that he can't use the 'Sunday Sun' title).

Similar to The Sunday Mail and The Mail on Sunday situation.
as I recall, they were planning an SOS before all the hacking business came out, and have registered a lot of online sites with names like sunonsunday.com
Murdoch does have a sense of humour, after all. It was 'NoW' before but now it's an SOS.
