I have a rotten cold and a very red nose, I have have had bad news both personally and professionally today and tomorrow I need to be bright, sparkly and entertaining for a job.

I just want to crawl under the duvet and not reappear until March :-(

Sorry Zac, but out experience was just plain horrible, not enhanced by the staff or anything.

Perhaps having a 'proper' lunch involving a hot meal and cutlery would have left us with a different impression.

I'll still have a pint with you though when I'm next in that end of the woods....
Absolutely, Zac, this place used to offer a nice"wholesome" meal...akin to the Barbon Inn - how is that by the way?

Never actually got to The Barbon as the pooch was far too dirty.

Nose still red and getting chestier which is an unfortunate thing to announce with Wishbone1234 posting ;-)

I got through work OK today but crashed when I got home and cancelled an evening engagement.

How are your piles this evening? I remember my SIL giving graphic details of piles, mastitis etc in front of her brother (my Husband), my god did he go pale! LOL.

Thanks 2SP.

Zacs, I think it might be risky to combine two medications, therefore I'll go for the toddy and save the Wishbone Vics rub for another lifetime.

I keep looking at his name and reading it as 'Wish I had a ***', I can't help but think it is an appropriate epiphet!
