Can anyone please tell me where I can buy a couple of windscreen saver patches without having to buy a complete repair kit.

cant say im convinced one of those would stop the screen cracking...assuming thats what you wanted it for. To be honest ive been in the motortrade forever and i have never seen one of these on a UK vehicle. I notice the link is for the USA, that might explain it..

My car insurance company sends me these things free occasionally. They are to be applied as soon as you get small windscreen damage to prevent ingress of dirt and water - then a windscreen repair is more likely to have a successful outcome. I had one on a largish chip for months before I got round to having it repaired.
