Draw is on at 11.40 tonight , it was on at a very late time last saturday (which suggests the draw was recorded earlier in the evening). other times its at 8.30pm. Is the draw at the mercy of BBC's programming schedule. 11.40 is a ridiculous time to run the draw!!

Have to agree with you, not sure they are drawn yet though as they don't appear on the site that gives them out (not the national lottery site as I don't use that one all the time)
I don't know why they cant just do the draw at say 20.00 and forget about all the time wasting quizzes etc.
The draw is always live but the time is subject to programming schedules.
I feel that way too paddy, no need for all the rubbish that goes with it imo think the draw is what most people want...if they want the quizzes etc why not do them after the draw.
Christmas/NY scheduling?
Personaly i do not own a TV . Simply because even with current changes and increased channels . there is in my view a willingness to allow someone else to dictate what you can watch and when to watch it.

However as i see you have a computer and obviously can use it this site may help with your frustration as to wanting results sooner. " if indeed the draw is prerecorded " and assuming they update the site quickly.

SC they don't update that quickly on the site...I find the best one for quicker results most times is http://www.lottery.co.uk/results/
thank you for that daisya
im sure barney15c will appreciate a faster update.

According to some posters the draw is always live so he maybe just as well watching on the tv..

however thinks may stil be useful for him :)

ironically the fastest site for lottery results other than the TV is ...

http://lottery.merseyworld.com/

Basic in the extreme but fast and no nonsense, i use it all the time if i miss the live draw on the tellly.
If I win I can wait until morning to know , you can't spend it at until you get the cheque cashed anyway.
Why all the fuss of a separate programme just to come up with a few numbers, why the need to have a specific machine, picked by 'Dave of Doncaster' and operated by a bloke with white gloves. Just post the numbers onscreen in a break between programmes somewhere, and spare us all the associated twaddle.
