right, so on the day there will be me and the kids (2 teenagers), my ex-husband, my moaning mother and her cousin (they don't really talk to each other) for lunch. later in the day my brother, his fruitcake wife and 3 small children will be arriving.

I've just had a text from my brother, "hi sis, one of the dogs (whippets) has been very ill, keeps having massive fits, on medication and can't be left. Could we bring her over on Christmas day? she'll be in a cage.. "

really, my blood pressure is already going THROUGH THE ROOF!

that's it, just a rant really!

someone remind me to run all my really vital posts past madmaggot in future.

it's chatterbank, love.. I don't need any reason to post anything.
I'm one of 7 and to get us rid of some energy and to build up an appetite for Christmas Dinner (and to get peace in the house!!) my dad used to make us run laps round the streets and pretend he was timing us with the old mantle clock.....we fell for it every year :o)
If you insist; that was supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek remark in an effort to lighten the atmosphere. Didn't work.
So, *fingers in ears* la la la la la la la la la la la la .............

Can't hear you!!!!

annie.. harsh! did you make your kids do that, too? lol..

redhelen ;o) x
No, Sara - we always find some pretext to be out for a walk round the river before lunch, but to be fair we do go with them!! I have only the 2kids not 7 and we are generally just ourselves for Christmas so it's quite peaceful really :o) No ex's mad in laws or grumpy rellies to deal with.

you don't want to look after a fitting dog, do you?

can't have you going bored ;o)
Sara - leave them all a boil in the bag dinner with a tin of dog food (they might work out the difference), stick your fingers in your ears and come round mine!

lalalalalalalala
