New Amy Winehouse Album

During her lifetime, Amy recorded a lot of stuff.

Her musical instinct told her what was good, and should be released, and what was rubbish, and should be dumped.

As a result, she becomes known for great music.

After her death, some money grabber digs up all the poop that Amy herself has rejected, and releases a "new" album, of "previously unreleased" material (previously unreleased because Amy's discerning musical instinct told her to NOT release it).

So has anyone bought the new Amy Winehouse "rubbish that she discarded" album?

Is it any good?

It is not unusual for deceased stars to have material released after their death.

Personally I never saw the attraction of Amy but then its not my type of music.
Out of interest, how much do you reckon artists receive per album, would it be more than £1? given that they are only about 8 quid and all the production costs.
But JJ I don't really care why they released it. I just want to hear it. If there are 2/3 really good tracks I'll be happy. However I do agree that £1 for charity is a bit miserly.
BTW, as it's your thread I can deviate for a mo and tell you I bought Death in Perugia today.
How do you know what Amy had or hadn't decided on? Some of the tracks might have been destined for a different album.
