Set up security camera and watch from other location

Im leaving my home for 2 months and need to be able to see what is going on in my garden while away in a different city.

Is there an easy way to set up a camera for this,ideally cheap?

Although any IP based camera could be made to work with a little playing about with port forwarding and dynamic DNS.

I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CLEAR,SORRY.

I will not have internet facility at the camera location as i will be closing my internet account,but will have wireless connection at my new location,so i guess i need a "stand alone or self transmitting camera "sending pictures to my new place.

That's not going to happen cheaply.

You'd need a camera/system that has a 3G capability (as in it will have a mobile phone SIM in it) which isn't going to come cheap for the hardware and then on top of that you'd have to pay a regular amount to cover the data usage over the mobile network.

(the above assumes the location is in a good 3G mobile area, if it's not than video isn't going to happen period, regular (once a minute or 2) static pictures are the best you could hope for without serious money)

OH, if you happen to have line of sight between the two locations then a couple of directional wireless points could be employed, you could go upto about 20 miles easily enough but the equipment isn't going to be cheap. It would remove the monthly cost though.
