its wrong of course, but it sounds like she thinks you owe her but dont show enough gratitude to her for all her help in general - raising you etc

maybe she feels best part of her life was spent on you and what has she got to show for it? an ungrateful daughter or something...?
ow sweetie p, i remember some of your older posts on here and i think your lovely. Just rise above it and remember that there have to be jerks in this world to make the nice people stand out. xx
Tinks, my mother routinely told me that I was an imbecile and an embarrassment when I was a young girl.

When I finally summoned up the courage to tell her what an atrocious mother she was, she finally took stock of her behaviour.

She is a completely different person now and I finally feel like I have a proper relationship with her.

Do not allow your mother to keep destroying your confidence.

Just looking over my profile and want to say thank u so much for all the kind words xxx
Oh, Tinks :-(
My mother used to say really hurtful things to me, when I was a teenager. I don't think they realise what an impact it has, I really don;t.
Mine used to mock me on my weight... it lead to an eating disorder and a lifetime of "issues" with food and my weight.

I honestly think a lot of it's to do with their own self esteem and jealousy.
I know it's easy for others to say, but just ignore it chick.

Go listen to some Steps (yes, I really did just say that) and have a good look in the mirror.
You're a beautiful young girl.... :-) xx
tinkerbell Is your Mum depressed ? I mean clinical depression not just in a bad mood ?
That sounds like the sort of thing people say because they are suffering from depression.
My OH has severe depression and that is the type of remark she would make to me, I get over it as I know it is a symptom of her illness.
