i have just installed a 2nd hand syntax sv266a motherboard which came without a driver. i installed it and the 2 gig cpu shows as a 1300mhz. ( yes i did check the cpu). it still shows my old board driver as installed which is why it is not showing the cpu properly. i can't get a driver from the net or the syntax site as it redirects me back when i try to download one.though i did download a bios for it but not sure what to do.if i uninstall the mainboard from device manager and reboot will it load a generic driver from within xp for this board automatically as this is all i can think of.
